This two-sided poster showcases the clean, classic tone of the Gill Sans typeface, designed by Eric Gill in 1929. The back side uses a monochromatic palette to emphasize the precision and humanist qualities of the letterforms. I layered different weights of select characters to highlight their subtle details and consistency, alongside some historical context and a quote from Gill himself. The front side takes a more creative approach, zooming in on the iconic âgâ and turning it into a layered, abstract design. Together, the poster highlights Gill Sans as both functional and artistic.
